AYSO Playground

AYSO Playground: This program is for kids 3 years old. AYSO Playground uses group activities, soccer themes and parent participation to develop the fundamental motor skills that prepare kids for all sports. This is not a typical "soccer" program and players will not play soccer games, instead they focus on all motor skills and have a fun time doing it. This is a co-ed program that runs 7 weeks and meets for one 45 minute session per week.

AYSO Schoolyard Jamboree

AYSO Schoolyard Jamboree: In AYSO Schoolyard Jamboree, 4-5 year-old children get to play soccer in an age-specific program, and you, the parents, get to participate with them!

AYSO Core

AYSO Core: This is AYSO’s oldest and best known program where a majority of kids fall in love with soccer and make lifetime memories.

AYSO Extra

EXTRA^TM is a competitive, game-circuit program that offers players a higher-level opportunity to refine their skills in a more competitive, tryout based environment.

AYSO Adult Soccer

AYSO Adult Soccer encourages everyone regardless of age, number of players on a team, or skill level, to get out and play! Get creative with how you play, whether it’s a game of 3v3, pick-up soccer, or futsal, AYSO Adult Soccer helps you get out, get fit, and have a good time with your community!

AYSO Area 1-S oversees a variety of youth soccer programs in the San Bernardino County, Southern Nevada, Bullhead Arizona. A short description of each program can be found below. If you have any questions about a program, please contact the board member who administers that activity.

Upper Division

The AYSO Area 1-S Upper Division Program has boys and girls teams in the 15U and 19U age groups. Each region may field one or more teams in each division and all play is inter-regional. Games are played in September and October and the season concludes before the start of the high school soccer season.

Play Through

The regular season champion and runner-up in the 10U, 12U & 14U divisions from each region play a tournament in December or January. The tournament champions in each division advance to the Section Play-Through Tournament to compete against other area champions from around Southern California.

All-Stars

Each region in AYSO Area 1-S is encouraged to form All-Star teams at the 10U, 12U & 14U age groups. Each age/gender group may form teams, designated as the Section team, the Area team and Regional Stars teams. Teams play a league schedule in January and February each year with the eventual winners advancing to the Section Tournament held in March.

EPIC

The AYSO Area 1-S Everyone Plays In our Community (EPIC) program was established to meet the needs and abilities of physically and mentally challenged persons of all ages. The laws are modified, if necessary, to account for any issues of mobility or comprehension.
